ContraFlex® PFP jackets fitted over cryogel material for cold insulation

Our team in South Korea manufactured and supplied our ContraFlex® PFP jackets for fitting over cryogel material for cold insulation.

The insulation was for a large Floating LNG (FLNG) to protect the valve & actuators, flanges and piping material.

Our customer needed to protect the instrumentation from extremely cold temperatures and ensure it was fire proofed. Traditional box-solutions have less flexibility and are rigid when applied, using our fire-proof jackets not only provided the flexibility required, but was a cost-effective solution.

All our jackets are bespoke – meaning we can guarantee they will be the perfect fit when installed. The fastenings used will enable the maintenance team to quickly and easily remove should they need to check on the cryogel material below.
