Manuplas Floating Fenders

Manuplas have an established reputation for designing and manufacturing customised floating fenders. Manuplas fenders enable safe berthing and are supplied to Ports and Navies worldwide. Suitable for providing vessel protection during ship-to-quay berthing and mooring and also during ship-to-ship transfer operations.

Construction:

  • Physically cross-linked thermolaminated closed cell polyethylene foam core in a range of densities
  • Unique spray applied ultra high performance polyurethane elastomer skin
  • 22 diameter sizes available as standard
  • Rope through or chain through configuration available on selected sizes
  • Range of body lengths available

Features:

  • High energy absorption and low reaction forces prevent damage to both the vessel and the fender and makes berthing operations easier and safer
  • Virtually unsinkable, therefore maximising service reliability
  • Easy installation
  • Nylon reinforcing of the elastomer skin increases tear resistance and extends life of the fender in harsh marine environments
  • Kevlar reinforcement is also available as an optional extra
  • High abrasion resistant skin limits damage to vessels and the fender
  • Virtually non-marking skin
